Anthony Shane Collins

Anthony Shane Collins, age 23, of Harrogate, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 26, 2023.  He was born on April 5, 2000.  He was the son of Amanda Bennet of Harrogate, TN and Kelly Collins of Ewing, VA.  Shane was best known as a loving father to his children and his passion for being a firefighter.  He will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness, patience, and love.  He had recently been accepted to Walters State Community College with hopes of pursuing a career as an EMT.  He always offered help to those he could when he could.  He continued to do so even in death by being an organ and tissue donor to help others in need as he passed on.

He was preceded in death by his son, Karson Collins; maternal grandfather, Carlos Bennet; and uncle, Eddie Wallace.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Emily Collins; children, Avah Collins, Ayla Collins, Kamdon Collins, Kayden Cupp; mother, Amanda Bennet; sisters, Savannah Payne, Madison Partin, and Amber Renee Collins; father, Kelly Collins (stepmother, Teresa Collins); aunt and uncle, Sue and Paul Gilpin; uncle, BJ Bennet; uncle, Travis Irvin; uncle, Frank Allen Irvin; aunt, Carla (Rodney) Fortner; aunt, Lora (Jason) Fleeman; paternal grandparents; a host of loving relatives including special cousins, Amber Gilpin, Shonda (Matthew) Rose, Haley Bennett and Nate Roberts; niece, Karleigh Tolliver; nephew, Edward Tolliver; sister-in-law, Erica Tolliver; and brothers-in-law, Chase Raines, Jr. and Thomas Tolliver.

Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31,2023, at Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Kendall Hoskins. Burial will be at the Cornerstone Cemetery, Harrogate.  Pallbearers will be Chase Raines, Jr., Thomas Tolliver, Matt Rose, Darren Thomas, and Thomas Vaughn.  Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Thomas, Tanner Bussell, and Mitch Maples.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30,2023, at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel, Harrogate, TN.
