Anna Lee Baker Smith, 83, of Shelby Township, Michigan, formerly of Bell County, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Father Murphy?s Nursing Home. She was born in Pineville on June 13, 1928 a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Saylor Baker. She had been a clerk at the Hughes and Hatcher Department Store in Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Smith; granddaughter, Danielle Robinson, brother, Harold Baker and sisters, Nancy ?Nannie? Smith, Georgia Hitt, Opal Brock and Beatrice Baker. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Tommie Middaugh, Joseph, Jr. and Beverly Smith, Ronald and Lucy Smith and Sandra Robinson; grandchildren, Dale Middaugh, Lisa Hundley, Sarah King, Heather Chantel, Joann Smallwood, Joey Smith, Timothy Smith, James Smith, Mary Halloway, Ronald Smith, Christine Saylor and Cherrie Kruickshank; great-grandchildren, Sequoyah Gray, Ashley Chantel, Nicole Smallwood, Brianna Smallwood, Christopher Smallwood, Leah Smith, Jessica Smith, Chelsea Smith, Dylan Smith, Rylee Smith, Autumn Smith, Tyler Smith, Megan Halloway, Austin Halloway, Nathan Halloway, Ashley Smith, Shawna Smith, Nicholas Smith, Samantha Barnett, Katie Barnett, Alex Barnett, Haley Saylor and Aaron Kruickshank; great-great-grandchild, Skylar Gray; sister, Viola Mason and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
