Anna Sue Senters

Anna Sue Ferrell Senters, 70 of Kettle Island, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Tri State Manor in Harrogate. She was born in Harlan on September 6, 1953, a daughter of the late Oscar and Malvie Collett Ferrell. Anna was a talented artist, an excellent cook, and she loved gardening and being outside. She was a loving aunt and loved life in general. Anna was a Medical Records Clerk for the Pineville Community Hospital for 35 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Senters; and siblings, Gary Hobart Ferrell, Ralph Ferrell, Rose Marie Hibbard, Wanda Faye Wagers, Viola Murphy, Frank D. Ferrell, Shirley Ferrell, and Chris Ferrell.

Anna is survived by her siblings, Diane Farrell Johnson, Dennis Lee Ferrell, Mary Lou Miller, Flo Ferrell, Lucy F. Mason, and Ed Ferrell; special niece, Elizabeth “Libby” Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, great-great-great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank the Tri State Manor and their staff for their care of Anna.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Hayes, Dr. Rader, Dr. Mohan, and the employees at the Pineville Community Health Care for the years of service she spent with them.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
