Anna Jane Brock

Anna Jane Brock, 82, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Fremont, Virginia on April 15, 1936, a daughter of the late Barton and Viola Ellington Stanley. Anna was a longtime member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lavone (Red) Brock, two sisters Betty Cox and Margaret King and two brothers Robert Stanley and Bill Stanley. She is survived by the following members of her family, daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Bruce Wilson; two grandchildren Erica Moore and husband, Patrick, and Whitney Durham and husband, Matt; five great-grandchildren, John Moore and David Moore, Beau Tucker Durham, Blake Durham and Benjamin Durham; two sisters Faye Messer and husband, Don, and Dorothy Holcombe; sister-in-law Elsie Stanley and host of nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends. Services will be on Thursday, January 24 at 2:00 P.M. at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Messer, Rev. Jeremy Sanders, and Dr. Rondald Howard. Music will be provided by Faye Messer, Stephanie Eldridge and Mickey Wilder. Burial will follow in the Dewey M Brock Cemetery at Kettle Island, Ky. Pallbearers will be Tim Cox, Craig Brock, Patrick Moore, Matthew Durham, Bill Bailey, Donnie Charles Brock, Tom Gambrel and Ted Wilder. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Simpson, Ken Mosley, Keith Lefevers, Colman Lefevers, Al Brock, Stephen E. Brock, Clark Gambrel, Jim Miracle, Charles Saylor, Franklin Hoskins, Charles Hillman, Matthew Holcombe, Richard Stanley, Aaron Stanley, Mark Goins, Dr. Emanuel Rader, Darrell Brock Jr., Jackie Hoskins and Phillip Brock. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Mill Creek Baptist Church from 6 until 8:00 P.M.
