Ann Howard

Ann DeRossett Howard, 85, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her home. She was born in Cardinal Coal Camp on July 8, 1925 a daughter of the late George and Nettie Merida Brown. She had been a homemaker and will be missed very much by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold DeRossett and George Howard, sons, George Van Howard, Jack Ed DeRossett and Joe Lee DeRossett and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Rita Silcox, Ruby Howard, Rick Eastridge, Karen Frenk, Harold DeRossett, Jr. and Sarah DeRossett, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Finley Brown, Dave Brown, Ollie Napier and Sue Craig and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
