Amanda Wilder Meyers, wife of the late Grover G. Meyers Went to be home with her Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born in Bell County at Page, Kentucky on December 6, 1919, to the late William A. Wilder and Mossie Miracle Wilder. Other family members who preceded her in death are brothers, Henry, Levi, Mack, William, Jr. and Rellies; sisters, Carlie Bailey, Martha Faulkner, Lillie Sams and Etta Jean Gilbert; grandson, Charles David Miller. She was a faithful member of the Middlesboro Church of Christ; a retired teacher of 32 years from the Bell County School System; an active member of the Eastern Star and Pineville Senior Homemakers. She was a graduate of Loyall High School and was graduated from Union College in Barbourville, KY with a B.S. degree in Education. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann (Charles) Miller; sisters, Dean (Paul) Smith and Lynette (Wayne) Price; and many loving nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. She will also be sadly missed by Suzy Greene (Dallas) Baker who was like a daughter to her.
