Alma Rickett Reefer

Alma Jean Rickett Reefer, 78, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Bell Jellico, KY on April 11, 1933 a daughter of the late Hayes Elmer and Judie Marie Patterson Rickett. Alma was a member of the East Jellico Baptist Church and had worked as a waitress for the Kentucky Cafe and for Howard's Drive In for many years. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Reefer; sisters, Opal Syme and Geneva Bekemeyer and brothers, Howard, Edgar, Homer, Doil, Sam and Billy Rickett. Survivors include her sons, Bob Thompson and his wife, Debbie and Donald Reefer; grandson, Matthew Thompson and his wife, Emily; brothers and sister, Lowell and Janice Rickett, Murrell and Juanita Rickett; Lonnie and Rosemary Rickett and Carolyn Patsy and Charles Michael and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
