Allen Gambrel

George Allen Gambrel, 38, of Middlesboro, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at his home. He was born in Pineville on March 6, 1973, a son of Shelby Smith and the late Peggy Sue Branson Jones. He had worked in construction. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Virgie Branson. Survivors include his wife, Shannon Gambrel; son, Cody Dillion Standifer; father and step-mother, Shelby and Pell Smith; brothers and sisters; Larry and Teresa Branson, Janet (King) and Roger Smith, Jimmy and Tonya Gambrel, Crystal Smith, Nathan Smith, Timmy Smith; aunts and uncles, Boyd Ray Branson and Jimmy Branson, Joyce Brock, Linda Philpot, Brenda Branson, Bill and Kitty Gower and Arnel and Janie Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
