Alice Faye Trosper Lester

Alice Faye Trosper Lester, 72, of Four Mile, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born at Tinsley, KY on August 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Hubert, Sr. and Sally Chaney Trosper. Alice was a member of East Jellico Baptist Church and had retired from the Bell County School System after 30 years as a high school teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. Lester, brother and sisters, Hubert Trosper, Jr., Irene Burgin-Sheppard, Sonya Singleton and Judy Ann Trosper. Survivors include her son and his wife, Paul Kenneth and Fadia Lester; grandson, Eric Kenneth Lester; sister, Betty Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel. Following Alice's wishes, she was cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 301 E. Main St. Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40202. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the services hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lester Family.
