Alene Osborne

Alene Jackson Osborne, 81 of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at her home. She was born on Laurel Hill on September 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Gillis and Roseanna Simpson Jackson. Alene was a member of the Brownies Creek Primitive Baptist Church and had been an Inspector for Honda.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Osborne; and siblings, John Henry Jackson, George Jackson, Claiborne Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Gillis Jackson, Jr., Earl Jackson, Donald Wayne Jackson, and Marlene Partin.

Alene is survived by her children, Connie L. Osborne, Ramona and Dennis Endicott, Keith and Connie J. Osborne, Kyle and Mary Osborne, and Kevin Osborne; grandchildren, Thomas D. Wagner, Kylah Endicott, Katie Endicott, Kendal Osborne, John Osborne, Daniel Osborne, Ashley Thompson, Aron Osborne, Amy Buening, Alivia Osborne, Quinton Osborne, Renee Schoefield, Kevin Osborne, Jr., Allen Osborne, and Madison Osborne; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Powell Valley Primitive Baptist Association with Elder Mike Jackson, Elder Randall Miracle, and Rick Dorton presiding. Burial will follow at the Osborne Family Cemetery on Laurel Hill with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Powell Valley Primitive Baptist Association on Laurel Hill.
