Albert Durham

Albert Durham, 75, of Arjay, passed away on July 4, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Arjay, on October 31, 1940 a son of the late Robert and Opal Storms Durham. He had worked as a Mobile home builder for Giles for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Mosley Durham, brother, Winston Durham, sisters, Ella Mae Fredrick, Mary Betty Jewell, Francis Harris and Vernie Beverly; grandson, George Taylor, son-in-law, Ronnie Taylor. Survivors include his children, Geneva Taylor, Margaret Collins and husband, Johnny, Albert Durham and Virgil Durham; grandchildren, Gary Taylor, Johnny and Gail Collins, Jesse and Kimberly Collins, Jason Collins, Jody Collins, Alicia and Scotty Jones and Jessica Smith; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Peace, Nikolas Collins, Connor, Sarah, Isabella and Kendall Collins, Skylar and Alee Jones, brother Robert Durham and wife, Dolly, sister, Judy Wright and husband, Roy and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Engle and Rev. Brandon Howard. Burial will be in Big Jim Cemetery at Blanche. Pallbearers will be Johnny, Jesse, Jason, Jody and Donald Collins, Justin, Alan, Damien Mills, Doyle Mosley and Doyle Mosley, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Nikolas and Andrew Collins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Durham Family.
