Vernon Patterson

Vernon Patterson, 68 of Pineville passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Fourmile on January 30, 1942, a son of the late Champ and Vernie Potter Patterson. Vernon was a believer of the Baptist faith and had worked for Mills Furniture and Appliance in Arjay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lora Cox and Otha Lovely. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Reba Hensley Patterson of Pineville; children, Vernon Patterson and Priscilla Patterson; grandchildren, Dustin, Brian and Brandy, sister, Pauline Lawson; brother, Howard Combs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
