Oscar Taylor

Oscar Taylor, 84, of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Van Wert, OH on December 28, 1923 the son of the late Noah Taylor and Tilda Johnson Sutton. He had been a tomato farmer and believed in the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helton Taylor and step-son, William Helton. Survivors include his step-children, Morgan Helton, Tishia Helton Slusher, Bertha Helton Wilson and Margie Helton Manning; a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, special friends, Patricia Thomas, Penny Saylor and everyone at the Wilderness Trail Manor.
