Opal Taylor

Opal Lee Taylor, 62, of Middlesboro, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born at Straight Creek, KY on August 13, 1948 a daughter of the late John W. ?Jay Will? and Alice Brock Taylor. She was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Lighthouse and had been a Home Care Worker. Opal was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Taylor. Survivors include her son, James Timothy Gray of Southgate, KY; granddaughter, Brittany Emerson of Liberty, KY, three great-grandchildren, brother, Ronnie Taylor and wife, Dorothy, sisters, Marva Kelly and husband, Bill, Wilma Hubbard, Betty Shelton and husband, Harold, special friend, Danny Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her presence.
