David Philpot

David Richard Philpot, 61, of Waddy, Kentucky, formerly of Jenson and raised in Pineville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was born in Jenson on August 12, 1950 a son of late Conley R. and Lucy Mae Crank Philpot. He worked for CSX as a trackman and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rickey Philpot. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara E. Nethery Philpot; son, Greg Haynes of Waddy; daughter, Vestina Valentorur of Shelbyville, KY ; three grandchildren, Desirae Valentorur, Anthony Valentorur and Kelsie Haynes; brothers and sisters, Larry Philpot, Teresa Philpot, Diane Ward, Barbara Ebbers, Robert Philpot and Linda Ferrell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
