ERIC BRANDON OGAN Eric Brandon Ogan, 18, of Arjay, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 6, 2008 as the result of an car accident. He was born in Knoxville, TN on August 27, 1989 the son of Kimberly Ogan and Daniel Fletcher. Eric was a senior at Bell County High School at Millers Chapel Baptist Church, had just achieved his Black Belt in Martial Arts and served two years on the Bell Co. High School ROTC Drill Team.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Robert and Hester Sanders and W.B. and Maudie Ogan.
Survivors include his mother, Kimberly Ogan, father, Daniel Fletcher, half-siblings, Jessica and Quinton Fletcher, grandmother, Brenda Ogan and Elmer Smith, Grandfather and Nana, Leon Ogan and Wilma Whitehead; uncles and aunts, Tim and Wendy Ogan, Walter “Rob” and Lisa Ogan and Aunt Casey Gray; cousins, Curtis, Lance, Quincy, Chelsie, Brianna and Gracie all of Arjay; girlfriend, Amber Evans of Middlesboro and best friend, Martin Proctor of 119 and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2 PM Friday at the Arjay Pentecostal Church with Pastor Bob Terry and Pastor Caleb Terry. Music will be by Bill Durham, Tim Evans, Miranda Terry and Erica Baker. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery, Arjay. Pallbearers will be Curtis Ogan, Lance Ogan, Quincy Ogan, Brandon Miller, Gregory Miller, Martin Proctor, Brady Patrick, Chad Sanders, Adam Sharett and Dustin Napier. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Evans, Dean Knuckles, Charles Miller, Joe Baker, Ryan Williamson, Caleb Terry, Freddie Byrd and John Terry.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Miller’s Chapel Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 5 PM and all day Thursday at the Arjay Pentecostal Church at Arjay.
