Zelma Lawson

Zelma Lawson, 75, of Barbourville, formerly of Bell County, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Oaktree Hospital in Corbin. She was born in Pineville on August 20, 1933 a daughter of the late William C. and Maudie Hanna Jones Lawson. She had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, John Calvin Lawson, Radie Jones, Sherman Lawson, Rice Lawson, Cealie Lawson, Mary North, Elon Gibson and Mae Carroll.

Survivors include her sister-in-law and caretaker, Elsie Lawson, brother, Lilburn Lawson, a host of nieces and nephews, special friend, Debbie Hill and her two special sons and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Duke Hammonds. Burial will be in the Tad Goodin Cemetery at Green Briar. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville. Guestbook at www.arnettsteele.com.
