Ethel Edna Hooker Ethel Edna “Wanda” Hooker, 72 of Cary, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2010 at her home. She was born March 1, 1937 in Arjay, a daughter of the Late Rice Hall and Litha Spurlock Hooker. Ethel was a believer in the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Hall and sister, Gertrude Kilgore.
Survivors include her sons, Karl Douglas Hooker and Marilyn, Alan David Hooker and Geraldine, daughters, Brenda Johnson and husband, Michael, Linda Lefevers and husband, Michael and Teresa Barlow and husband, Michael, grandchildren, Scott Lefevers, Brian and Karen Lefevers, Jennifer and Randy Hammontree, Jessica Gambrel, Amanda Barlow and April Barlow, great-grandchildren, Madison, Marissa, Connor and Aiden Lefevers, brothers, J.D. Hall, Delbert Jackson, Teddy Jackson and sisters, Jerlene Warren and Brenda Cook.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday at the Big Jim Cemetery in Arjay. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
