Virgie Roark Honeycutt Lefevers Virgie Roark Honeycutt Lefevers, 79, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.
She was born in Beverly, KY on September 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Huey and Susie Lawson Roark. Virgie was a member of the Church of God, Wallsend and had worked with Senior Citizens in many capacities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Mike Honeycutt and Charles Reed Lefevers; son, George David Reed, grandson, Daril Ray Collins and an infant granddaughter; brothers Paul Garfield Roark and George Lawson and his wife, Lizzie Mae Lawson and brother-in-law, Ben Hoskins.
Survivors include her children, Marlene and Amos Smallwood; Vicky and Tim Lefevers, Michael Honeycutt and Joseph Honeycutt; thirteen grandchildren including special grandson, Dalton Honeycutt, a host of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Wesley and Helen Roark, Paul Hubert and Jerri Roark; Barbara and Joey Sanders, Ella Hoskins and Shirley and Doyle Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Lord and Mr. Gary Gray.
Music will be by Lisa Rhodes, Bobby and Loraine Ulrich.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Wesley Roark.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Virgie Lefevers.
