Hester Brock Knuckles Hester Brock Knuckles, age 81, of Big Creek, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was born February 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Clettie and Hugh Brock. She was a member of the Cow Fork Primitive Baptist Church and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Archer Knuckles; brother, McKinley Brock; sisters, Carrie Knuckles, Susie Helton, Nettie Helton and Fannie Brock.
Survivors include her children, Archer Knuckles, Jr., Lucy Jean Beckham, Eleanor Atnip, Celleta Barnes, Loretta McHone, Christine Knuckles and Belva Lynn Knuckles; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Brock, Richmond Brock and Connie Brock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Yost. Burial will be in the Knuckles Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville which in honored to serve the Knuckles family.
