Glenn Rice Messer Glenn Rice Messer, 63, of Collingsville, TX, formerly of Pineville passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Collingsville. He was born in Pineville on October 22, 1948, a son of the late Dempsey and Margaret Messer. He was a graduate of Pineville High School and had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, he settled in Collingsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte
Collingsworth.
Survivors include his sisters and brother, Janie and Homer Monhollen; Louise Lewis and Robert and Lois Messer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with Rv. Doyle Lester.
Military honors will be provided by the US Army at the graveside.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Messer Family.
