Mr. Salvene Dell

Salvene Dell, 78, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Four Mile on May 19, 1929 the son of the late Joe and Birdie Florence Payne Dell. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Hunt Dell, daughter, Sharon Kay Dell, grandson, Fred Dunn, Jr., sister, Jessevene Gray and brothers, Joe E., Johnny, Frank and Otis Dell.

Survivors include his daughters and their husbands, Mary Ann and Fred Dunn of Pineville, Georgia Anne and Luigi Alfano of Baltimore, MD and Mary Louise and Carl Hensley of Walton, KY; grandchildren, Priscilla Ann Dunn, Justin Alvin Dunn, Gina Mae Alfano, Sofia Ann Alfano and Baby-to-be Alfano; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Magdalene and Claude Baker of Ferndale, Special companion, Ruth Dell, special friends and fishing buddies, Walker Bradshaw, Roscoe Isaac, Ed DuBois and Gayle Hoskins and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 PM Sunday at the Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church with Rev. Hubert Baker, Mr. Jeff Baker and Rev. William Graver. Music will be by Amanda Baker. Burial will be in the Henderson Cemetery at Four Mile. Pallbearers will be Justin Dunn, Fred Dunn, Luigi Alfano, Frank Dell, Jr., Jeff Baker, Joseph Dell and Dennis Dell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jai, Dr. Kaw and Staff and Pineville Home Health.
