Loda Belle Miracle

Loda Belle Miracle, 96, of Calvin, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at her home. She was born in Kettle Island, KY on December 26, 1910 the daughter of the late John C. and Vina Emeline Cutshaw Johnson. She was a member of the Brownies Creek Primitive Baptist Church and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Miracle, Sr. son, Boyd Miracle, daughters, Ethel Phyllis Miracle and Margaret Miracle; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers, J.B. Johnson, Ollie Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Hazel Saylor, Nora Green and Pauline Hampton.

Survivors include her children, William Bryant Miracle, Norris Miracle, Nelson Miracle, John C. Miracle, Glenn Roy Miracle, Lester Wayne Miracle, Josie Inez Taylor, Geneva Jones, Shirley Mills, Velma Sharp and June Warren, thirty-seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Gracie Cox and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 2 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Elder O’dell Wilson, Elder Eugene Wilder and Elder Kenneth Robbins. Burial will be in the Wilder Cemetery at Calvin. Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law and grandsons.
