Michael Thomas Lamb, 60, of Middlesboro, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 at his home. He was born in Lewellen, KY on February 7, 1947 the son of the late Homer and Beth Hollingsworth Lamb. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had been an electrician for a Coal Mine. He was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge 119. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie Lynn Slusher Lamb, daughters, Michelle L. Lamb-Vera and husband, Shad of Key Largo, FL and Virginia E. Lamb-Fisher and her husband, Richard of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Dylan Lamb, Anthony Vera and Cameron Michael Fisher; sister and her husband, Sue and Dewey Smith of Middlesboro, nephews, Dan Smith and wife, Annette and Brian Smith, nieces, Linda Renfro and husban,d Larry, Nicole Taylor and Tracy Cox and husband, Rusty; great-nieces, Dannette Smith andSarah Cox; best friends, Matthew “Train” Hall, Dennis Hunley, Pat Shivers, Tim Tyree and Greg Maiden; first cousins, Gary Hollingsworth and Donnie Hollingsworth and all the great friends he has had.
