Dora Louise Miracle Dora Louise Miracle, 84, known as Louise, to all her many friends, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Tri-State Manor in Harrogate, TN. She was born in Trosper, KY on January 19, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Robert Arthur Miracle and Susie Broyles Miracle. She worked for Bow Valley Coal and Great Western Coal in the accounting offices in Pineville and Middlesboro, retiring December 31, 1987 when the company was sold. She worked for 18 years in General Insurance in Pineville and Middlesboro. She had been a member of the Pineville Junior Women's Club. A charter member of the Pineville Business and Professional Women's Club(1956) continuing until it dissolved in 1979. She served in several offices, locally, district and in state organizations. She was an active member of Pineville's First Baptist Church, in all youth programs, and worked in Vacation Bible School in the county sponsored by the church, Sunday School, Training Union and W.M. U. In March 2003, she moved her membership to Riverside Baptist Church in Fourmile.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donnie Emma (Donna) Miracle.
Louise is survived by her aunt, Francis Broyles, Kingsport, TN and a host of many cousins and dear friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be 7 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jerry Tracy, Rev. Ray Spicer and Rev. David Daniels. Music will be by Ginny Fraley. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday at the Barbourville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Floyd Broughton, Bob Links, Alan Boyse, Thomas Broyles, Mike Crockett and Gary Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Earl Hurst, Ben Dye, Allen Lewis, Whanye Greene, Dr. Richard Lee, Dr. Jerry L. Woolum and the Men of Riverside Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends after 5 PM Thursday until funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to served the Miracle family. Light a virtual candle or sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
