Floyd "Lester" Vaughn

Floyd "Lester" Vaughn Floyd Felix "Lester" Vaughn, 50 of Arjay passed away on Wednesday, July 25 at his home. He was born in Pineville on April 28, 1962 and was the son of the late Henry and Hester Lawson Vaughn. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had been an iron worker for Pips Iron Works.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Carpenter.
He is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Mason of Arjay; sister, Ruby Smith of Arjay; half-brothers, Ernest Gray of Fort Wayne, IN and Jimmy Gray of Corbin; step-children, Emily Cook and Joseph "Little Joe" Cook and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2 PM on Saturday with Rev. Ben Ingram and Rev. Gene Taylor at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. Inurnment will be Monday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until 2 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Vaughn family.
