Pearl Hoskins Vetrano Pearl Hoskins Vetrano, 87, of Kettle Island, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at her home. She was born on February 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Lee and Lucy Asher Hoskins.
Pearl was a member of the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vetrano, a sister, MayErlene Hoskins, a brother and sister-in-law, Asher and Ada Hoskins.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lucy Vetrano Smith and Ronald L. Smith; grandchildren, Tim and Sara Smith, James Smith, Mary and Greg Holloway, Ronnie and Debbie Smith and Christine and Matthew Saylor; sixteen great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Otis Hoskins, Lehman and Genevieve Hoskins, Phillip and Phyllis Hoskins, Bonnie Hoskins, Irene Hoskins and Barbara Hoskins; nieces and nephews, Lucy Marlene Hoskins, Patricia Jane Hoskins, Zona Beth Fryman, May Beth Beverly, Lee Phillip Hoskins, Allison Hoskins and Asher Hoskins; great-nieces and nephews, Phillip Asher Hoskins, Dustin Beverly and Dale Brock and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Gene Huff. Music will be by the Church Family. Burial will be in the Lee Hoskins Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Phillip Hoskins, Asher Hoskins, Dustin Beverly, Phillip Asher Hoskins, Anthony Grubbs, James Smith, Timothy Smith and Matthew Saylor. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Steven Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Vetrano and Hoskins Family.
