Ashley Nicole Olear Ashley Nichole Olear, age 11, of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on June 10, 1998, a daughter of Michael Kevin and Linda Davenport Olear.
She was a sixth grade student at Bell Central School Center and was a member of the STLP Club, First Priority and was practicing and looking forward to participating in the talent show where she planned to sing and dance to a Miley Cyrus song. She enjoyed youth sports leagues, reading, swimming and summer conservation camp at Camp Wallace. Now, Papaws pretty girl has gone home to Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Michael Olear.
Survivors include her parents who will miss her dearly, Linda and Michael Kevin Olear; sister, Alyssa Brooke Olear; grandparents, Sharon and Tom Davenport and Berta Olear; great-grandfather, Doug Griffith; best friends, Tosha Tolis, Destinee Miracle, Marcus Overton and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Heck. Burial will follow in the Good Cemetery at Hutch with Ben Barnett, Lee Tuttle, Clint Shoffner and Tony Janeway serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ashley’s classmates and teachers at Bell Central School Center.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville which is honored to serve the Olear family.
