Charles Cleave "June Bug" Zachery Charles Cleave “June Bug” Zachery, 75 of Pineville passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1933 in Cardinal, KY a son of the late Charles and Ellaree Zachery. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, was a veteran of the United States Army and had retired from Kentucky Utilities Company.
In addition to his parents he was in preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Joanna Fergerson Zachery, children, Ellen Elaine Zachery and Charles T. Zachery; brothers, Arthur Lee Zachery and Henry B. Zachery; sisters, Helen Zachery, Eldora Zachery and Nancy Zachery.
Survivors include his children, Wendall “Tony” Zachery, Michael and Melissa Zachery, Rose Lynn Cloud and Dewayne “Poot” Zachery all of Pineville; grandchildren, Niesha and Raachaad Cloud, Shawnta’, Caitlin and Malachi Zachery, Antonio, Sara and Emily Zachery and Kourtney Zachery; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Gia Sturgill and Kiara Cloud; sisters, Patricia Hamilton of Indiana, Elizabeth Zachery and Inez Simpson both of Middlesboro; special nieces, Ellen Zachery and Candace Zachery and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville with Evangelist Michael Fergerson. Music will be by Rhonda White and Michael Fergerson. Burial will follow in the Wallsend Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Hendrickson, James Milton Mays, Chris Cloud, Jerry Harrison, Jucco Carson and Rabu Kelley.
