Hobert McCabe

September 10, 1930 - September 21, 2008

Hobert McCabe, 78, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born in Mathel on September 10, 1930 the son of Nellie Jackson McCabe and the late Charlie McCabe.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar McCabe.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ruby Wilson McCabe, children, Albert (Teresa) McCabe of Pontiac, MI, Charlie McCabe of Pineville and Audrey (Doug) Cremer of Byron, MI; his mother, Nellie McCabe of Balkan, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 1 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Claudie C. Caudill. Burial will be in the McCabe Cemetery at Balkan. Pallbearers will be Jason McCabe, Josh McCabe, Tyler Cremer, Dalton Cremer, Bob Messer and Eugene Messer.
