Alice Brock Taylor Alice Brock Taylor, 86, of Middlesboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Tri-State Health and Rehab Center in Harrogate, TN. She was born in Red Bird, KY on April 27, 1921 the daughter of the late Tilton and Seretta Saylor Brock. She had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John W. (Jay Will) Taylor, an infant daughter, Darlene and all of her brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her children Marvegene Kelly and husband, Bill, of Cincinnati, OH, Opal L. Taylor of Middlesboro, Ronald L. Taylor and wife, Dorothy of Ardmore, AL, Wilma Hubbard of Calvin, and Betty J. Shelton and husband, Harold of Harrogate, TN; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 1:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy Collett and Rev. Bill Poore. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery, Pineville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jon Marvin Hubbard, Billy Taylor, Ron Taylor, Timothy Gray, Andy Shelton, Jonathan Shelton, special friends, Darryl Maiden and Mike Miracle. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Tri-State Health and Rehab Center, Dr. Badera, Dr. Kaw, Dr. Woolum and William Philpot.
