Robert Lloyd Moore

July 10, 1925 - October 12, 2007

Robert Lloyd Moore, 82, of Arjay, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Dearborn, MI on July 10, 1925 the son of the late Lloyd and Catherine Campbell Moore. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a truck driver for many years for Preston Trucking Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Moore, a sister-in-law, Alberta Moore and step-daughter, Elizabeth Aldridge.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Annie Jackson Moore; children, James, Catherine, Timothy and Pamela Moore; step-son, Jimmy Aldridge; grandchildren, Kristie Moore, Kyle Gafford, Alisha Miles, Jonathan Miles and Jeff Miles, brothers, Don Moore and Ralph and Thelma Moore; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Arvie Jackson, Ernest Jackson, Earl and Paulette Jackson, Daniel and Gladys Jackson and Wilma and Leroy Hubbard, special niece, Janet Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Ward. Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Veteran Honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 14.
