Margie Lawson Knuckles Margie Lawson Knuckles, 92 of Red Bird passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Fields. She was born in Beverly on July 11, 1916 a daughter of the late Wilk and Fannie Brock Lawson. She was a believer in the Holiness faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Knuckles; brothers and sisters, Ardill Lawson, Bessie Helton, Ewell Lawson, Clora Meredith, Debbie Brock, Louanna Sizemore, Arthur Lawson, Richard Lawson and John Lawson.
Survivors include her children, Geneva Brock of Fields, KY, Byrl Knuckles of Cincinnati, OH, Simon Knuckles of Tampa, FL, Robert Knuckles of Louisville, KY, Carrol Knuckles of Cincinnati, OH, Lavoy Knuckles of Knoxville, TN, Hershel Knuckles of Beverly, KY, Larry Knuckles of Louisville, KY, Wanda Caldwell of Fields, KY, Bruce Knuckles of Markle, IN, Ricky Knuckles of Corbin, KY and Janice Helton of Corbin, KY; Margie had 33 or more grandchildren and several great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Chanie Heye, Ed Lawson, Bradford Lawson, Marie Wilcox and Sue Shutte; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be 2PM Tuesday, October 14 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Baker and Rev. Ronnie Hoskins. Music will be by Virgie Dell. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be all her grandsons.
