Willard Osborne

Willard Osborne, 69, of Laurel Hill, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Pineville on April 6, 1941, a son of the late Leonard and Rutha Jane Jackson Osborne. He was a believer in the Primitive Baptist faith and had been a carpenter and outside miner. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandsons, Jereme Neal and Jamie Tyler Partin; brother, Henry Osborne and sister, Gladys Wilder and brother-in-law, Otis Brock.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Partin Osborne, daughters, Jamie Neal and Lisa Osborne; grandchildren, Amanda Michelle Neal, Laura Kathryn Osborne and Sierra Nicole, great-grandson, Hagen Neal; sisters, Opal Brock and Helen Seigler and her husband, Arthur and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Elder Johnny Robbins and Elder Randall Miracle. Music will be by the Primitive Baptist Church Choir. Burial will be in the Willard Osborne Family Cemetery on Laurel Hill. Pallbearers will be Dean Brock, Doug Brock, Tim Seigler, Chad Emery, Jordan Partin, Donnie Miracle, Paul Wilder, Aaron Jackson, John Epperson and Steve Partin. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Ray Brock, Arthur Ray Evans, Eldon Thompson, Tim Lasley, Jeremiah Partin, Wayne Hampton, Tony Hunley, Arthur Seigler, Johnny Wilder, Floyd Hunley, Eric Less, Bruce Bennett, Dr. Hilton Brooks and George Jefferson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Osborne Family.
