Emily Helton Casto

June 01, 1923 - August 23, 2009

Emily Helton Casto, 86, of Calvin, passed away at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN on Sunday, August 23, 2009. Born June 1, 1923(May 31,1923), she was the daughter of the late Rachael Sizemore and Daniel Helton. She was machinist for RCA Manufacturing Company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lawrence Helton, Earl Helton, Ernest Helton, Grant Helton, Denver Helton, Rice Helton, Corbert Helton, James Helton and Robert Helton and sisters, Mollie Asher and Phronia Belcher.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra Casto Kmett and James Blackburn, brothers, Fred Helton and Daniel Helton, and life long friends Betty Cardwell and Tishie Helton Asher and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 8:00pm Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Suntken. Music will be by the congregation. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home.
