Myrtle Louise Wilson

April 10, 1931 - November 29, 2008

Myrtle Louise Wilson, 77 of Jenson, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Florence, KY. She was born in Bell County, KY on April 10, 1931, a daughter of the late Dewey, Sr, and Ova Jane Baker Rice. She was a strong and dedicated Christian Woman and a member of the Jenson Pentecostal Church. She had owned and operated the Sweet Shop Café for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wilson; grandson, David Wilson and brothers, Robert and Dewey Rice, Jr.

Survivors include her children and their spouses; Donnie and Pam Wilson of Pineville, David and Diane Wilson of Pineville, Henrietta and Kenneth Gallichio of Florence, Charles and Teressa Wilson of Pineville and Gary Wilson of Pineville. Fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters and their husbands, Willa Jean and Curt Lefevers of Florence, Bernice and Bobby Davidson of Latonia, KY, Jeanetta and Bill Hawkins of Taylor Mill, KY and Christine Muncy of Latonia, a very special aunt, Bertha Napier, special friend, Mary Ann Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Rice and Rev. Miriam Woolum. Music will be by Rev. David Peters.

Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Madhan Mohan, Jason Taylor, Chris Butler, Bobby Grubbs and Norman Cornelius.
