Jeanne Elizabeth Gambrel Cinnamon

Jeanne Elizabeth Gambrel Cinnamon, 59, of Tinsley, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her home. Born in Pineville, KY on February 8, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Mary Dean Gambrel. She was a member of Hosman Baptist Church, was a graduate of Lone Jack High School and attended Cumberland College. Jeanne had retired from Monumental Life Insurance Company after 26 years of working. She was an avid supporter of Relay for Life.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Billy Wayne Cinnamon, daughter, Katie Jones and husband, Clark of Pineville; son, Jeff Cinnamon and fiancé, Amy Lefevers of Pineville; grandchildren, Halle Grace and Lucas Owen Clark Jones; sisters, Anna Walters and husband, Wayne of Tinsley and Leah Strange and husband, J.D. of Pineville; brothers, Johnny Ross Gambrel and wife, JoAnn, of Jenson and Danny Thomas Gambrel and wife, Sue of Pineville; special friends, Kay Dean of Tinsley, Sara Parrott Goodin of Tinsley, Mary Kay Mills, Mary Lou Lawson Broughton of Oak Ridge and all the Hospice workers; Caregiver, Larry Cinnamon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Celebration of Life will be at 8 PM on Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Helton. Music will be by Mickey Wilder. At Jeanne’s request she was cremated.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Cinnamon Family.
