Bennett Helton Bennett Helton, 72 passed away Monday, November 19, 2007at his home in Sharpes Chapel, Tn. He was born March 16, 1935 in Stoney Fork, the son of the late Jack Wesley and Bessie Lawson Helton. He had been a coal truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers William and Forester Helton and sister Qwendoln Helton.
Survivors include his daughters Deborah Owens of Greenville, Tn, Bessie Helton of Plant City, Fl, Bennie Helton of Richmond, grandchildren Tishia Marilyn Owens and Taylor Kristian Tafe; brothers and sisters Tishie Asher of Pineville, Frances Lefevers of Barbourville, Evelyn Rice of Bardstown, Ky, Gervous Helton of Ventura, Ca and Farmer Helton of Middlesboro.
Services will be Friday, November 23 at 10 AM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Baker. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
