Quillia Forester Gross Howard, born June 8, 1922 died at 12:33 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Hazard ARH. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith and actively attended Greenhill Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homan Howard and Howard Gross, her parents, Hardy Forester and Sallie Bailey Helton; sister, Oma Helton Saylor and brothers, George Bailey and Jack Helton.

She is survived by daughters, Hattie Gross Mills Hill and husband, Joseph L. Hill, Jr. of Conway, AR and Sally Sandra Gross Asher of Pineville; grandchildren, Tammy Renee Mills of Garland, TX, Tonya Lynn Mills Hatt of Clarksville, TN, Joseph Christian Hill of Pembroke, GA, April Michelle Asher Tapp of Middlesboro, KY, Bonnie Suzetta Asher Gambrel of Rose Hill, VA, Sarah Elizabeth Asher of Lexington, KY, Georgianna Lynn Asher Strouth of Wise, VA Debra Sue Asher Good of Middlesboro, KY and Abigail Roseletta Asher Wilson of Pineville and 19 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 12 Noon, Friday at the Greenhill Pentecostal Church in Bledsoe with Rev. Ted Brock. Burial will be in the Honey Branch Cemetery at Middlefork with Frank Overton, Joe Hill, Mark Wilson, Scott Gambrel, Mark Tapp and Rusty Strouth as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday after 6 PM at the Greenhill Pentecostal Church. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Howard.
