Roger Howard

Roger Howard Roger Howard, 62, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born in Saylor, KY on June 21, 1946, a son of the late Homan and Mossie Saylor Howard. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a heavy equipment operator for Surface Mining.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Reva Sue Caldwell and brother, Ralph Howard.
Survivors include his children, Gary Howard and Justin Howard; brothers, Roy Howard and Ronny Howard; former wife, Kathleen Lawrence Howard; nieces and nephews, Lesa Caldwell, Wayne Howard, Ronny Elmer Howard, II, Ronald Eric Caldwell and Rodney Howard, Gwen Howard and Melissa Howard, uncle, Alvin Saylor and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Arnett & Steele funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Saylor. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery at Stoney Fork. Pallbearers will be the Harlan County Honor Guard.
The family received friends from 6 until 9 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
