Irene Mosley Gordon Irene Mosley Gordon, 62, of Beverly, departed this world on May 15, 2009 at her sister’s home. She was born in Leslie County, KY on April 24, 1945 a daughter of the late Blaine & Ella Collins Mosley of Clay Co., KY.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Becky Mae Mosley, Edna Collett Wells, hazel Morgan, Lillie Mae Anthony and Leona Gray; brothers, George Clay Mosley, Boyd Mosley, Carlo Carloftis and Mack Mosley.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Boone Smith, her daughters, Dorothy Ann and James Acome of Orange Lake, FL, Shona and Mike Caldwell and Ella Gordon and James Littman, all of Knox Co., KY; sons, James Anthony and Stella Gordon, Ernest Luther and Tiffany Gordon, all of Knox Co, KY and John Christopher Webb of Bell Co., KY; grandchildren, James William Acome of Bellview, FL, Joshua Andrew Acome of Ft. McCoy, FL, Victoria Caldwell, Bella Caldwell and Michael Blaine Caldwell, Jr., all of Knox Co., KY, great-grandchildren, Andrea Marie Acome and Joshua Andrew Acome, Jr. of Ft. McCoy, FL and Kyndl James Acome of Bellview, FL; sisters, Carolyn and Bily Andreas of London, KY and Debra Mosley of Beverly, KY; nieces, Jennifer Bray helton of London and Latrisha and Tonya Lawson of Beverly, KY and a host other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 4 PM Saturday at the Blackmont Baptist Church with Rev. Teddy Collett and Rev. David Howard. Burial will be in the Mosley Cemetery in Clay Co., KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM Saturday at the Blackmont Baptist Church.
