Robert Wayne Matthews Robert Wayne Matthews, 41, of Arjay, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Pineville Community Hospital. Born in Pineville on October 6, 1967, he was the son of Esther Joyce Osborne Matthews and the late John Matthews, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Esther Matthews, children, Robert Wayne Smith, Candra Shae Matthews, Jessica Lauren Matthews and Carissa Nicole Matthews, grandchildren, Johnathan Angel Matthews, Addison Grace Matthews, Elijah Luis Matthews, Isaac Sebastian Matthews and Jajaira Jeanette Matthews; brothers and sisters, John David Matthews, William Carl (Deborah) Matthews, Michael Dewayne (Teresa) Barlow Larry Ladon (Reba) Barlow and Jackie Louie Barlow and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Osborne. Burial will be in the Matthews Cemetery at Briar Hill, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12until 2 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
