Fairy Witt, 80, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Pineville Community Hospital. Born in Little Creek, KY on Januayr 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Rachel Partin Webb. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell B. Witt, step-children, Gladys Broughton Epperson, Georgia Cheek Stogner, O.B. Witt, Brady Witt and Cecil Witt; brothers and sisters, Ruby Willliams, Mary Alice Gibson, Elise, Ancil, Wess, Verb, Andy, Cecil and Bob Webb, son-in-law, James Charles Emery.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Emery, Mary Frances and Rudith Redmon, Rose Marie and Marvin Aldridge, step-daughters, Maxine Broughton, Bessie Henderson, daughters-in-law, Modine Witt, Nettie Witt and Cecil Witt, grandchildren, Mark Emery, John Emery, Steve and Megan Emery, James Emery and Companion, Stephanie, Sherry and Dewey Mayes, Andy Ray and Melinda Webb, Charles Kenneth and Crystal Webb, Eddie M. and Vickie Redmon, Ann Marie Aldridge and Matt Aldridge; great-grandchildren, Afton Wagner, Samantha Mays, Cierrah Emery and her mother, Norita, Kasey Emery, Clarissa and Derrick Jennings. Jessa Wyrick and her mother, Brenda, Isaiah Webb and Abigail Webb; great-great-grandson, Derrick Jennings, Jr., sister, Virgie Blanton and Mandy Webb , special friend Sarah Hattie Frazier and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Hiram Mason, Rev. Bill Gibson and Rev. Kelly Partin, Jr. Music will be by Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Allen Mason.

Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery at Clear Creek, Pineville, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Witt family.
