Janis Baker Broyles

October 31, 1930 - July 13, 2010

Janis Edna Baker Broyles, 79 passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Briarcliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born in Pineville on October 31, 1930 a daughter of the late John James and Bertha Victoria Fuson Baker. She was a believer of the Missionary Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vernon Broyles and was the last survivor of all her siblings.

Survivors include her children, Darlene and Kevin Greene of Knoxville, Fred and Janet Broyles of Speedwell and James and Connie Broyles of Speedwell; grandchildren, Lisa Carter, Adam Swisher, Jessica Broyles, Carrie Broyles and McKenzie Broyles; great-grandchild, Taylor Swisher and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
