Carrie Brock McGeorge Carrie Brock McGeorge, 83, of Middlesboro, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Hulen, KY on March 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Willie and Dona Saylor Brock. She had been a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John N. McGeorge and by ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Donna and Farmer Helton of Middlesboro, Lawrence and Zella McGeorge of Middlesboro, Newt and Betty McGeorge of Hulen, Lillie and Richard Burke of Tazewell; grandchildren, Carrie and Ed Yeary, Sherry and Mike Standifer, Lawrence, Jr. and Melissa McGeorge, Newt McGeorge, Jr. and Wendy, Angela and Steve Abbott;’ great-grandchildren, Kayla Standifer, Kelsie Standifer and Kristen Standifer, Conner McGeorge, Lauren McGeorge and Sydney Abbott; sister, Mandy Brock of Hulen and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Private Services will be held.
Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
