Patricia Gail Gambrell, 69, of Pineville, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Pineville Community Hospital following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on November 2, 1938 the daughter of the late William S. “Bill” and Hattie Mae Belcher Dean. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville and had operated Gail’s Dress Shop. She was a graduate of Lone Jack High School.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Eugene “Bud” Gambrell, son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Gambrell; grandson and his wife, Chadwick Eugene and Chassidy Gambrell; granddaughter and her fiancée, Seretta Gail Gambrell and Christopher Dale Epperson; great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Gambrell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl S. and Darlene Dean and Dwight E. and Charlene Dean; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Robert Muncy, Fannie and Joe Davis, Walter and Dora Gambrell and Virginia Marrow; special nephew, Matthew Dean; sister-in- Christ, Nina Bailey; special friends, Gerial Slusher, Yvonne Steely, Faye Wilson and the Bethany Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Howard and Rev. Shawn Baker. Music will be by Annette Walden, Barbara Grace and Benny Howard. Entombment will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Steven Dean, John Cinnamon, Jim Mills, Jr., Terry Bailey, Billy Terrell Bailey, Chris Sharp, Bruce Nunn and Jerry Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Gambrel, John Gambrel, Larry McGaffee, John McGaffee, Bill Ward McGaffee, Charles J. Dean, Leonard Tee Slusher, Joe Steely, Dr. Shawn Fugate, Dr. E.H. Rader, Pete O.V. DeBusk, Larry Cinnamon and Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
