Marsetta Jones Crisp Marsetta Jones Crisp, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She passed away at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Kettle Island on May 3, 1941 a daughter of the late John and Mary Collett Jones. She attended Henry Clay High School in Lexington and graduated in 1959. She lived in Lexington for 20 years where she worked at Dixie Cup and Square D before moving back to Straight Creek. She also attended the Horizon Adult Day Care. Marsetta received a lung transplant on February 24, 2000. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Charles and George Columbus; nephew, Larry Dean Jones.
She is survived by sons, Timothy Bruce Jones, Johnny Dean Crisp and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Tonya Lynn Crisp Cloe and husband, Jerry; sister, Fannie Rae Howard and husband, Gabe; sister-in-law, Claudette Jones, grandchildren, Emily Jones, Jacob Jones, Caleb Cloe, Joey Cloe; nieces and nephew, Deborah Jones, Karen Karel, Kathy Clark, Rondald and Sandy Howard, Roger and Patricia Howard, Benny and Woodie Howard; great-nieces and nephews, Leah, Lisa, Katie, Abbie, Andrew, Beth Ann, Matthew, James, Lindsey and Vince, Paige, Gracen and Dana; special friend, Stephanie Secrist Jones and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be 2 PM Sunday at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Dean Crisp, Rev. Rondald Howard and Rev. Rodger Howard. Music will be by Rondald, Rodger and Benny Howard and Mickey Wilder. Burial will be follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Andrew Howard, Matthew Howard, James Howard, Jacob Jones, Jerry Cloe, Vince Powell, Bill Trey Harbin, III. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Talmadge Hayes, who was a special friend and physician.
