Joy Ann Belcher, 55, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Red Bird, KY on September 6, 1953 a daughter of the late Rdell France and Mealie Ann Mills Sizemore. She was a member of the Laurel Branch Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Ronnie David Belcher, brothers, Harold Lee, Kenny B. and Francis France, grandmother, Susie Baker and father-in-law, John Henry Belcher. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Rev. Herstel Belcher, sons,Donnie Wayne Brock Belcher, Tommy Robert Belcher, grandchildren, John, Hannah, Keelie and Keegan Belcher, very special former daughter-in-law, Lisa Redman; special niece, Flo (Beanie) Blanton, sister, Lovella McKinnon, brothers, Dallas Mills and Joe Sizemore; mother-in-law, Tishie Belcher, special friends, Shelia Ledford and Patricia Warwick and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Laurel Branch Pentecostal Church with Rev. Wayne Caldwell, Rev. John Belcher, Rev. Bill Ledford and Rev. Harold Lee Fuson. Music will be by the church family. Burial will be in the Whitehead Cemetery at Stoney Fork. Pallbearers will be Donnie Belcher, O.J. Baker, Daniel Warwick, Bristol Belcher, Bobby Belcher, David Belcher and James Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Tucker France, Little Jean France and Mark France. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Friday and all day Saturday at the Laurel Branch Pentecostal Church. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
