Steven Ray Adkins

Steven Ray Adkins, 21 of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Pineville on July 1, 1986 a son of James Adkins and Jackie Willis Miller. He worked at TCO Manufacturing in Corbin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jess and Gladys Adkins and William Willis, nephews, Paul Joseph “Bubba” Cunniff, III and Matthew Ferrell and mother-in-law, Sherry Causey.

Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Causey Adkins of Corbin; parents, James and Harriet Adkins of Cumberland Gap and Jackie Miller of Corbin; brothers and sisters, Timothy Adkins of Pikeville, TN, Paul Joseph and Debra Cunniff, II of Middlesboro, Heidi Ferrell of Middlesboro, Rusty Newell of Coshocton, OH, Walter Countryman of Columbus, OH and Rosemary Adkins of Cumberland Gap; nephew, Timothy Adkins, II of Lexington; grandparents, Harold and Harriet Guilliams of Coshocton, OH and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Information

Family and friends can share their fond memories of Steven Ray at 2 PM Saturday, April 12 at New Ferndale Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in Oak View Cemetery at Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
