Mr. Orville Alford

November 10, 1949 - July 29, 2008

Orville Alford, 58, of Middlesboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. He was born November 10, 1949 in Tinsley the son of the late Bill Alford and Leora Edmondson Alford, who survives. He was a believer in the Pentecostal faith and had been a television repairman, operating Alford’s TV Repair for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Faye Dunn Alford; children, Vince Alford of Lincolnton, NC and Angela Cameron of Jefferson City, TN; step-children, David Jr. Patterson and Eunice Faye Lingar both of Pineville; grandchildren, Amanda Alford, Alexa Alford, Tyson Alford, Macy Cameron, Kayla Daniel Payne and Lillian Faith Lingar; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Alford, Don Alford, Harold Alford, Betty Maiden, Rosetta Brown, Billie Lefevers, Carolyn Wagner and Evelyn Helton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 1 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Sharp and Frances Sharp officiating. Music will be by Amanda Baker. Burial will follow in Mills Cemetery at Tinsley. Pallbearers will be family and special friends. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Frith, Tom Hicks, Jack Saylor and Dr. Cabuay.
